Adrian Pope

Managing Director
Adrian Pope is the Founder of the Pope Group of Companies and Managing Director of Tartarus Underground Hire. Based in Mount Isa, Queensland, Adrian started his career as a diesel fitter with BHP. He then went on to build his own mining services companies, including the reknowned Popeys Diesel Services. The mining services sector is a close knit community and Adrian, affectionately referred to as "Popey," is known as Mr. Fix it; the person everyone rings when they have a problem. General Manager
Alex Sangster has over 30 years of mining, equipment and services sector success. Alex cofounded Rock Drill Services Australia, later acquired by Epiroc. Now based in Queensland's hinterland on the Sunshine Coast, Alex is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service solutions to Australia's underground mining companies. Alex is your first point of contact to discuss your equipment needs and how to go about solving any operational challenge.
